Crafted from recycled military tents, these Vintage Tent Fabric Mats not only provide a unique, vintage touch to any space, but also have a story to tell. Each mat is made from different colored fabric used in various battle fields, making it a one-of-a-kind piece. Plus, by repurposing old fabric, these mats are environmentally friendly.

"These mats are made from old fabric of recycled tents sold by the military. In northern India, where a big military base is located, surplus items are commonly distributed to the surrounding cities. Green for jungle, beige for desert, white for snowy mountains, different colors of fabric for different battle fields are gathered for wholesale and it grabbed PUEBCO's heart to see so many layers of fabric piled up. Workers there wear some of the surplus items without caring about its original purpose. We especially remember a man using a sheet that is usually used for sleeping on a train as a turban instead. Seeing it wrapped around his head was strangely cool. A large tent we purchased, after it was washed, was cut carefully to avoid the metal eyelets and windows. Sometimes divided pieces of fabric were sewn together to make a big piece. The result is that none of the finished mats look the same."

This product is made by repurposing used camping tents. Because the material was overworked in the harsh environment of the open air and elements, there was dirt, rust, tears and holes accompanying it. Friction causes dirt and dyes to transfer to other things such as clothing. Because the fabric weakens due to aged deterioration, it may break or be broken by washing. Color and design are assorted.

PUEBCO was born in Japan 2007 with the simple notion of creating things instinctively, using found and recycled materials to curate renewed lifestyle items. PUEBCO believes that just as people are the sum of their lived experiences, the objects we share our homes with should carry that same sense of history and weight. By using recycled materials and hand made processes, PUEBCO imbues these objects with the feel of many lifetimes and a sense of history that makes each piece unique. Upon Receipt of Shipment
Please carefully inspect goods before accepting delivery. If any item arrives damaged or is defective, customers must reject the delivery and notify client services within 48 hours.

If UPS, USPS or FEDEX deliveries arrive with evidence of damage, customers must notify client services within 2 business days of the original delivery date.
Images of any damaged and/or defective items are required to be sent via email before return authorizations can be issued.

If you have received item(s) that are incorrect and not as indicated on your purchase receipt, please notify the client services team within 2 days to initiate a replacement request.

In the event that the package is not received or lost in transit, but shows delivered to the shipping address associated with the order, KIT UP will not be liable for non-receipt of goods or replacement of goods. KIT UP will assist in filing a trace and claim with the respective carrier to assist the client in locating lost parcels.

Parcels that are unclaimed or refused will be subject to applicable return and restocking fees and will not be considered canceled.

We do not accept returns for orders shipped to International destinations.

Special orders begin production immediately upon order placement and are built to specification. Special orders cannot be changed, modified, canceled or returns.
